Topps is honored to present this special one-time release in celebration of the 80th Anniversary of Stan Musial's MLB debut. The 20-year-old outfielder made quite the first impression  cracking a two-run double for his first career hit and helping the St. Louis Cardinals down the Boston Braves by the score of 3-2.

"Stan the Man" played 22 seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals, winning 3 World Series titles (1942, 1944 and 1946), 3 NL MVP awards (1943, 1946 and 1948), 7 batting titles and earning 24 All-Star Game selections before his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969.
