Back-up keeper Adrian secured Liverpool’s second European trophy of the year on his debut for the club. In a close game which finished 2-2 after extra time, the tension mounted further as the penalty shoot-out began. With nine faultless spot-kicks it came down Tammy Abraham vs Adrian. The young Chelsea striker hit a powerful shot down the middle of the goal which Adrian blocked with a well-placed foot to seal the win.
