Just hours after winning the American League Rookie of the Month Award for April, Mazara got a jumpstart on the award for May. With the game tied 1-1 in the top of the eighth vs. the Toronto Blue Jays, Mazara launched a solo shot to center, followed by a game-saving outfield assist at home plate to close out the bottom half of the inning.
