The resulting collection features themes close to Pete. First, the inspiring street art of New York City serves as the main design motif. Bright colors. Gritty textures. Graffiti lettering. Secondly, “Molon Labe,” an expression of defiance attributed to King Leonidas, leader of the 300 Spartans at the Battle of Thermopylae; An expression Alonso says captures his approach at the plate.
